As a result, a new discipline has emerged, Bioinformatics, which is based on the computational analysis of biological data sets. One of the most commonly used approaches within bioinformatics is sequencing data processing, a highly valued field of knowledge both by innovative companies and general research, whose demand increases daily. In this introductory course, we will describe the different types of data used in sequencing, as well as the most commonly used bioinformatics analysis algorithms.
