2019-11-28 New list of Spanish ICTS published
The Supercomputing center of the University of Málaga is included in the last book presented by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities with the current list of ICTS (Infraestructura Científico-Tecnológica Singular), which are large installations, resources, facilities and services, unique in its kind, that are dedicated to cutting edge and high quality research and technological development, as well as to promote exchange, transmission and preservation of knowledge, technology transfer and innovation.
2015/07/27 - SCBI is now an ICTS

Supercomputing and Bioinformatics upgrade
The Supercomputing and Bioinformatic centre of the University of Málaga has recently upgraded their resources with new machines and software.
2013/10/28 - Presentación nueva infraestructura SCBI
En la presentación se explicará el funcionamiento del SCBI y como se pueden optimizar las investigaciones con la ayuda de los equipos del centro, de forma que se pueda afrontar la investigación de problemas mas grandes, o tardar menos tiempo en los actuales, o abordar nuevos tipos de problemas.
